I decided that I'd rather go to RISD, since it's a much better school than SCAD. I joined the RISD Class of '12 group on Facebook, and talked to people there who were either in RISD already or dropping other colleges [someone even dropped a full scholarship at Pratt Institute for no scholarship at RISD!] for this school. And I heard some fairly negative things about SCAD. Plus, I really like the atmosphere in the RISD '12 group already, everyone is really nice & informative, literate [hooray!] and excited to go. I really can't wait to meet everyone this fall, but I'm also really scared because I still look/feel/think like a little kid. They'll probably mistake me for some HS Freshman. Haha. I'm definitely going to miss China though, as much as it astounds me to say it.
